The beautiful Apolonia III apartment will inspire you with its stylish furnishing and its three terraces. Two of them offer you stunning views to the Tagus estuary while the third will give you some more privacy on the back side of the apartment.

The carefully renovated apartment is situated in a completely restored beautiful 17th century building. The open-timber roof, finely grinded wooden floors and the tasteful decoration with the famous “Azulejos”, 200 year old Portuguese tiles, give a special elegance to the apartment. The open dining and living space faces the river. Thanks to its southern exposure, it is flooded by Lisbon’s special light. The wide estuary of the Tagus is only 100 m away from the building. Due to the proximity of the station and a one-way street in front of the house you hear some noise. With the windows closed, however, is quiet in the apartment.

Three furnished balconies are the heart of the apartment. On the two of them that face the water, you can sit down with a glass of wine and enjoy the view of the ships that pass by. The long balcony on the back side is accessible from both bedrooms through glazed doors. Both bedrooms, the living and dining room offer you air conditioning for a comfortable stay even during the hot season and warm up the apartment perfectly in winter time. The apartment offers you a modernly equipped kitchen and a tiled bathroom.

The central location between the metro/train station Santa Apolonia and the famous Alfama quarter is a perfect starting point to discover Lisbon. Within five walking minutes you will reach Campo de Santa Clara where you can visit the well-known flea-market twice a week. We recommend you to just walk around the small lanes of the Alfama, to sit down at a square and to just enjoy the authentic atmosphere.

Please visit also the remodeled storage buildings at the harbour next to the river. Now they accommodate stylish design shops, famous clubs and restaurants. The Baixa area, the central shopping quarter of Lisbon, is just two minutes my metro away. Inside of Santa Apolonia station you will find the supermarket “Pingo Doce” where you can buy all that you need on 7 days a week.
