Our cosy and stylish Travessa apartment is quietly located at Lisbon's beautiful old town quarter Sao Vicente/Alfama in the heart of Lisbon's old town. The famous castle "Sao Jorge" is only a few minutes walking away. You'll reach many sights by foot, such as the cosy Alfama quarter with its beautiful Fado houses and nightlife, the monastery Sao Vicente, the Santa Engracia cathedral, the overwhelming viewpoints Santa Luzia and Igreja da Graca, the popular Graca quarter with its street cafes and last but not least the old flea market "Feira da Ladra" (Tue + Sat). Just around the corner a small bakery offers you breakfast biscuits.
We can recommend you especially a visit of the viewpoint in front of the Graca church with a small cafe some steps up of our apartment. This is our favourite place in the morning and in the evening where you can enjoy a fantastic view of Lisbon and the Tagus estuary. The next tram stop of the famous No.12 and 28 is within 3 min. walking distance. The metro stations Santa Apolonia and Martim Moniz are reachable within 15 min. by foot.
Just opposite our lovely apartment the Rua de Sao Vicente begins with new small cafes and restaurants offering delicious lunch. This charming quarter is a perfect mixture between old stores, small cafes and excellent fish restaurants. The fully renovated residence is situated on a ground floor in a restored 18th century old town house. The apartment offers a bed- and living room, a bathroom with a comfortable shower and a fully equipped modern kitchen. We equipped the apartment with carefully chosen design pieces. A handcrafted sideboard in the style of Charlotte Perriands design, an original 70's Luigi Colani lamp, a 60's wardrobe and an old hand tufted carpet. Two fine leather arm chairs, a Sony music system a and a flat screen TV offers you additional comfort.
Upon arrival you'll receive the apartment keys from our team. Your contact person awaits you at the apartment.
