Description

Our spacious Marinha Patio apartment offers you an elegant living environment, combined with a lot of comfort. The exclusive apartment is located in a fully restored townhouse with only 2 residential units. You enter a large open space area with bathroom, modern kitchen and a large living room. From here you have direct access to your private garden terrace. A massive wooden staircase leads to the upper sleeping area. Here you will find two bedrooms, one en suite with direct access to the second bathroom. The third small bathroom is next to the second bedroom. From the windows and the French balcony you have great views of the green Santa Marinha square on one side and a wide view over the Alfama to the huge Tejo estuary on the other.

The stylishly furnished apartment is located in Lisbon's historic Alfama district, on the green garden square Largo de Santa Marinha. A picturesque and quiet place in every season of the year, in the middle of Lisbon's old town. The houses around Santa Marinha square are very popular and are part of the preferred residential area in Lisbon.

Within walking distance you will discover the most beautiful sights of Lisbon, the Castelo Sao Jorge, the Sao Vicente monastery or the famous baroque basilica Santa Engracia. For all kinds of purchases, we recommend the Graca quarter with its long shopping street above the apartment, a 10-minute walk away. In 3 minutes on foot you can reach the tram stops of the popular lines 12 and 28 below the apartment. Tram 12 or 28 takes you to Baixa and further to the Chiado / Bairro Alto district in 10-15 minutes.

Twice a week (Tue + Sat) the famous Feira da Ladra flea market takes place around the Santa Engracia Basilica. If you follow the tracks of the historic E28 tram towards the port, after a few minutes you will come across the beautiful Miradouro de Santa Luzia viewpoint. One of the hippest hangouts in town with lots of outdoor spaces. The Alfama offers an authentic encounter with a lively city and its people. The special thing about Lisbon is not the museum-like preparation of old city quarters, but the direct, unadulterated experience of originality in one of Europe's most beautiful cities.

Each further person is charged at 20.00 EURO per night (max. 5 persons). Children up to 9 years of age are charged at 10.00 EURO per night.

When booking, we kindly ask for a deposit. If the arrival cannot take place due to corona, we will credit you the deposit for a later booking.

One-time cleaning fee: 2 persons 70.00 EURO, each further person 10.00 EURO. Towels and bed-linen are provided. Electricity, gas and water are included.

Stunning and quiet located apartment in beautiful part of the city. If you like exploring Lisbon on foot then this is the place for you. The Alfama streets are full of quirky bars and restaurants and full of character.

We had a wonderful 5 days stay. Great location in Alfama close to tasty restaurants and cafes. The property manager was flexible to let us drop off bags early which was very helpful. No complaints − would strongly recommend!

The place is exactly as described. The location could not be better. Though it's right in Alfama next to a touristic sight it is very quiet and cozy. The famous tram 28 stops right around the corner. We were greeted by Rodrigo who explained everything perfectly. It is obvious that the hosts care a lot about excellence, they even provide a folder with recommendations for restaurants, supermarkets and things do to. The place itself was very clean and had everything we needed! We would love to come back.

My husband and 5 year old son stayed in Lisbon for 4 days/3 nights and loved every moment of it. The location of Marinha Patio was ideal as it was safe, quiet, and just the right walking distance from various markets and all the beautiful locations in downtown Lisbon. David was the one who welcomed us, and from the very start, made us feel right at home. The apartment was very cozy, had plenty of room to move about, beautiful view and natural sunlight, and the sleeping arrangements were very comfortable. Overall, having stayed here added to our unforgettable experience discovering Lisbon, its rich history, delicious food, and most importantly, its welcoming and kind people. A part of our hearts will stay there forever! Obrigado!

This apartment is simply wonderful. It is quiet and out of the noise of the Alfama but still in a short walking distance. The apartment is full of light, modern and very comfortable. Wonderful and cool outdoor area! It is also well equipped and has everything one needs for a great stay in Lisbon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Witold & Rodrigo's flat in Alfama, and they were both very helpful and very responsive! It's a great location right next to a little park, and a very short walk from the Monastery of São Vicente de Fora, the iconic Tram #28, and numerous restaurants and mini−mercados. Despite it's central location, it's still quiet and peaceful at night. We would stay there again!

First time in Lisbon and I can honestly say that it was one of the most memorable, fantastic and enjoyable trips ever. This apartment is situated in Old part (don't let first impressions from street put you off − the surrounding area has so much character and great quirky cafe's) the apartment is just brilliant and the pictures online do not do it justice. Rodrigo met us on schedule at apartment and was so welcoming it immediately gave the right positive impression. He gave us a detailed viewing, was so helpful with any questions we had and provided lots of information. All round, this apartment Lisbon and the People are just fantastic. Top Marks from Dublin Ireland. We will be back!!
