This lovely apartment Mosteiro II is uniquely located on a small hidden hill vis a vis to the famous renaissance monastery Sao Vicente. The place was in former times from the 16th - 17th century a hill where the huge marmor blocks and architectural elements for the monastery construction work where stored. At this higher level a huge wooden bridge was built and the elements were brought to build the monastery. Very cool and interesting! You'll love this amazing location.

Nower days you can enjoy a picturesque quiet square with old trees and a baroque marble fountain in the centre. Most of the sights are located within walking distance, the church St. Engracia, the famous Fado houses, the flea market with a historic market hall, the castle Sao Jorge and the shopping quarter Graca. In the peaceful and friendly neighbourhood you will find a bakery and a lot of traditional delicious restaurants, bars and cafes. We recommend you the restaurant O Pitéu at Largo da Graca.

The renovated residence is situated in a restored 18th century old town house. The apartment consists of one bedroom, located between living room and hall, a living room, a bathroom with shower and an equipped kitchen. The apartment has fine wooden floors. We like to sit near by the window, especially in the evening, to enjoy Lisbon's light with a glass of wine and the nice view. From the living room window you have a nice view to the monastery Sao Vicente.
