At this stylish and elegant Cortes I apartment you can enjoy a fantastic private garden terrace equipped with a hammock and all garden furniture. From both bedrooms, one with a charming French balcony, you'll have a fantastic view to the huge Tagus estuary.

The charming apartment is located in a quiet lane in the traditional old town quarter Santa Engracia. Santa Engracia is a still undiscovered cosy and very portuguese old town quarter in Lisbon. You have a lot of small townhouses with private gardens on the backyard. Due to its proximity to the Tagus estuary you can enjoy fantastic views at Santa Engracia quarter to the harbour area and of the huge estuary. Tourists are rare at our neighbourhood. We also live in Santa Engracia and have here our agency office.

We like this contemplative neighbourhood very much. You have a lot of tiny stores for all wishes. At our main street Rua Magalhaes you can order always fresh portuguese lunch and dinner at "Senhor Cardoso" for a favourable price. We can recommend you to visit also Museu da Agua at our quarter, the nice Water Museum with an old garden park. The famous baroque cathedral Santa Engracia is easy reachable on foot. At Rua Washington you have the bus stop and within 10 minutes walking distance you'll reach easily the metro and international train station Santa Apolonia.

This splendid apartment consists of 2 bedrooms, a comfortable living and dining-room, a stylish bathroom with a big shower and a totally equipped kitchen. The highlight is the 30 sqm garden terrace. The 1920's building is constructed very solid. So after a careful restauration you can enjoy a modern apartment with a lot of charme and original historic elements.

We can provide you with a garage space (car up to medium class), 3 minutes on foot, for 30 EUR per day. The parking spaces in the district are chargeable.

Upon arrival you'll receive the apartment keys from Mrs. Daiana. Daiana awaits you and shows you at the apartment.

Each further person is charged at 20.00 EUR per night (max. 4 persons). Children up to 9 years of age are charged at 10.00 EUR per night.

When booking, we kindly ask for a deposit. If the arrival cannot take place due to corona, we will credit you the deposit for a later booking.

One-time cleaning fee: 2 persons 50.00 EUR, each further person 10.00 EUR. Towels and bed-linen are provided. Electricity, gas and water are included.

As of January 1st 2019 a tourist tax charged by Lisbon City Council becomes payable upon arrival. It is 2.00 EUR per person (over the age of 13) per night, up to a maximum of 14.00 EUR.

We can highly recommend Cortes I apartment. Its location was great, an easy 5 min. bus trip into the old town centre or walkable within 15 min. on foot. Being away from the busy tourist area gave it real interest and character and it was terrific to be able to shop at the local stores and eat at the local restaurants. The apartment was everything it was shown to be on the website. Daiana was very helpful and available if needed. Thank you for a beautiful stay.

Smooth reservation through Lisbon−Holiday−Apartments. This wonderful and cosy apartment is as described on the site and is ideally located close to everything (shops, castle, metro...) and the view over the Tejo is a little extra treat. Both Lisbon−Holiday−Apartments and the apartment are highly recommended!

El apartamento Cortes está bien situado en el barrio de Graca, andando se tarda unos 10 minutos hasta la Alfama y si vas en coche no es difícil con un gps entrar y salir de Lisboa y encontrar aparcamiento en la zona o sino se encuentra el Parking de Santa Apolonia es bastante asequible. El apartamento tiene todo lo que se puede pedir y más para pasar una estancia "como si estas en tu casa", muy acogedor y con buenas vistas. Apartamento muy recomendable.

I booked this apartment with my daughter. We had two separate bedrooms, which was very convenient. The area is very peaceful, you have small cafes to eat and drink. My special tip: go to Snack Bar Paquito just around the corner, they are very friendly and the daily changing meals are truly delicious. We will come back!

The apartment was comfortable and well furnished and we very much enjoyed our stay. Mrs Daiana was welcoming and helpful, and the arrangements to meet at the apartment went smoothly. The local area has many small shops selling basic groceries and a bakery, also a few cafes. There is a bus stop very close with a bus around every 10 to 15 min, and a tube station around 15 min walk. The local area in Lisbon has a lot of hills, so you need to be fit! If you are in Lisbon for several days, as well as seeing the city, we would also recommend visiting Sintra and Cascais, both around 40 mins train journey. The public transport in Lisbon is good and also inexpensive. You can get a ticket from any tube or rail station for either all day any journey for Euro 6, or can put money onto a pass which you can use during your stay (similar to London oyster card, but much cheaper!). We would love to come back to Lisbon sometime, and would definitely recommend this apartment.

The first impression we had of the apartment was Beatriz, who greeted us very warmly and gave a handful of useful advice about the neighborhood. We could not have imagined a better start. The apartment was very clean, everything we needed was there as described on the website. Not much to say except that we highly recommend it! One piece of advice for future guests: if you want to take a cab (for example from the airport), print out a map of the neighborhood showing the street (Rua Cortes Reais), this will help the driver find the street as it is quite small.

The apartment was nice and very clean. It was equipped with everything, even coffee capsules. And the owner was very kind. The position is near to Alfama and S. Apolonia station and it's possible to reach the center in a few minutes.
