With this unique Penthouse you can expect one of our most beautiful apartments in Lisbon. On both sides of the apartment you are close to the water and enjoy unique views of the huge Tejo estuary. Both terraces are the highlights of this stylish and high-quality apartment and invite you to relax after an exciting day in Lisbon. There is something new to discover at any time of the day or night and the passing ships offer you special photo opportunities.

The picturesque Santa Engracia district, where we also live and work, is located in Lisbon's eastern old town. This beautiful area is developing into a particularly popular residential area in the old town. Due to the hillside location and the immediate proximity to the river, the view opens again and again to the water and its many ships. In our main street, Rua Magalhaes, "Senhor Cardoso" serves fresh and delicious Portuguese dishes every day for lunch and dinner, lovingly prepared by Dona Alice. In the many corner shops in the district you can get all products fresh and regional every day.

The popular old town quarters of Alfama, Graca and Sao Vicente, directly adjacent to Santa Engracia, with their many fado bars, cafes and museums and the tiny, ancient shops can be easily reached on foot from the apartment. You can also get to the Baixa, the center of Lisbon, quickly and easily. From Rua Washington you can take the bus to the central square Praca do Comercio in about 10 minutes, and Santa Apolonia metro station is a 10 minute walk away.

The perfectly designed apartment is in a house from the 1920s. We have incorporated all of our experience over the past few years into the high-quality furnishings. The elegant eat-in kitchen offers everything you need to feel at home. The modern bathrooms are luxuriously furnished with marble. Two bedrooms are connected to additional outdoor areas in the lower area. A small steep staircase leads from the open living room to the upper level with another open sleeping area and a small extra bathroom en suite. Please note that the upper area, especially in the bathroom, has a limited, sloping ceiling height (max.1,60m). We do not recommend this upper area for people with physical limitations.

You can book a garage parking space (car up to medium class) in the house for 30 EUR per day. The parking spaces in the district are chargeable.

Upon arrival you receive the apartment key from Mrs. Daiana. She will be waiting for you at the apartment.

Each further person is charged at 20.00 EURO per night (max. 6 persons). Children up to 9 years of age are charged at 10.00 EURO per night.

When booking, we kindly ask for a deposit. If the arrival cannot take place due to corona, we will credit you the deposit for a later booking.

One-time cleaning fee: 2 persons 70.00 EURO, each further person 10.00 EURO. Towels and bed-linen are provided. Electricity, gas and water are included.

As of September 1st 2024 a tourist tax charged by Lisbon City Council becomes payable upon arrival. It is 4.00 EURO per person (over the age of 13) per night, up to a maximum of 28.00 EURO.

We are very pleased with our stay in the Penthouse apartment. The loft was for the shorter individual of the group. Quiet residential area outside the touristy streets but close enough for easy access on foot to all the things beautiful Lisbon has to offer. We will recommend this place to our friends and family.

We have spent 10 days in this beautiful apartment which exceeded our expectations in every way. Stylishly furnished, comfortable, light and airy, the apartment was always a delight to return to after a day spent exploring the beautiful, interesting and varied city of Lisbon. The terraces are such an asset, ideal for sunbathing whilst watching the ships sail by or reading and enjoying an evening drink as the sun sets. We loved the neighbourhood with its friendly and unique atmosphere. It was the perfect distance from the lively bars and nightclubs of the down town centre. When booking a holiday, we feel it is very important that communication is quick, clear and efficient. Witold was our first contact and he was absolutely brilliant in arranging all the details of our booking and very accommodating when we had to alter our dates slightly because of changes to our flight times. Daiana, who met us when we arrived, provided us with lots of useful information and was immediately available by phone when we needed her, also contributed to making this holiday memorable and trouble−free. For many years we have regularly rented apartments in European cities and we can honestly say that this is one of the best.

Simply excellent − much better than expected. The apartment is located in central downtown, only some steps, but in a still genuine non tourist overloaded neighborhood. We had a great experience! Before booking I had asked Lisbon Holiday Apt Staff for advice regarding the neighborhood to choose. I am pregnant and I needed a safe and comfortable location. Their advise was perfect! We had the best time in this peaceful neighborhood. Moreover the apartment was lovely and comfortable and quiet as we requested. The staff is kind and glad to help. I would definitely recommend it!

The apartment is beautiful. It is a bright and spacious place. The rooms are nice and clean with everything you need. The location is close to metro/ train station Santa Apolonia area and near to the Tagus estuary. You can walk from here to downtown centre in 15 minutes, passing the beautiful oldtown of Lisbon. The apartment is located on the upper floor with elevator. It has an amazing view of the river. The host and this location in Lisbon are both awesome.

This is a wonderful Penthouse, beautifully renovated and furnished, with beautiful views. It is so comfortable and relaxing there that I hardly left the house (loved to lounge on the balcony with a good book and glass of chilled wine, distracted only by the view of the river) but it is located in a authentic and quiet residential area of Lisbon. All the historical tourist attractions are easily accessible. Loved the bathroom finishings and spacious bedrooms.

We were very impressed with this apartment. It is clean, tidy and modern with large living area and fully equipped open plan kitchen. The east facing balcony was perfect for the morning sun whilst the separate west facing balcony was ideal for late afternoon and sunset. The large windows and patio doors make this a bright and airy apartment. All communication was promptly and efficiently dealt with. There are mini supermarkets and interesting restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance. Only minor criticism is that there were no manuals for kitchen appliances and we struggled a bit to operate the oven.
