Our beloved Santa Engracia quarter is located in the Eastern Lisbon old town. The area has not been discovered by mainstream tourism yet and is a true insider tip. The picturesque quarter offers its visitors many attractive views to the water and the ships that pass by. In our main road, Rua Magalhaes, Paquito cooks delicious homemade Portuguese food. Just one corner away, at Rua Rui Barbosa, you can buy everything you need in Senhor Chicos grocery store.
We can recommend you to visit Museu da Agua in our quarter, the historic Water Museum with its old garden park and benches to relax in front of it. The baroque cathedral Santa Engracia is easy to reach on foot, just like the famous surrounding quarters Alfama, Graca and Sao Vicente with their Fado restaurants and typical bars and shops. From the bus stop at Rua Washington right in front of the building you will reach Lisbon’s central quarter Baixa within 15 minutes by bus. Santa Apolonia metro station is just 10 walking minutes away.
The thoughtfully renovated apartment is located in a building of the 1920s. We used our experience to create a perfect mixture of modern housing quality and design classics. The elegant kitchen is thoughtfully equiped and makes you feel at home. Two modern bathrooms with showers are available for you. Beautiful wooden floors and high ceilings with original stucco underline the elegant atmosphere. Our favorite place is the wonderful balcony terrace with it´s breathtaking views.
