You can visit many sights in the direct surroundings of the apartment like the fantastic ruins of Convento do Carmo, a gothic convent of the 14th century, the famous Santa Justa elevator with its stunning views across the city and the splendid neo-manueline train station Rossio.

Largo do Carmo square is located just around the corner. This verdant square is not just one of the most beautiful squares of whole Lisbon, but it is also a place where history was written. In 1974, the end of the authoritarian regime Estado Novo was declared in front of the main building of the Portuguese National Republican Guard. Every year on the 25th April, many people meet there to celebrate the anniversary of the Carnation Revolution. Nowadays, Largo do Carmo is a popular meeting place for locals to listen the street musicians. We recommend you to sit down for a while in the shadows of the jacaranda trees, drink a glass of wine and enjoy the unique atmosphere.
