Description

The contemporary Ria Penthouse is perfectly situated in a quiet location in the charming fishing village of Alvor on the green western Algarve. The gem Alvor enchants us with its authentic and friendly atmosphere and invites you to enjoy the perfect day at the beach, to take long walks through the Ria de Alvor nature reserve, along the long Atlantic beach or to spend leisurely afternoons at the traditional fishing harbour with its many small restaurants and cafés. It is a pleasure to watch the bustling activity of the seagulls and sailors in the lagoon from the wonderful terraces of the harbour restaurants. Via sensitively embedded wooden paths between the sea and the lagoon, you can reach the picturesque Praia de Alvor beach behind the dunes.

Our fine sandy beach stretches over 14 km from Lagos to Tres Irmaos, where the most beautiful rock formations in the Algarve meet the sea. Thanks to its sheltered location, the Atlantic Ocean is ideal for swimming from April to November. Alvor is a center for water sports. You can go windsurfing, kitesurfing, and kayaking. You can also play tennis or paddle tennis in the center of Alvor. There is a public indoor swimming pool and the Eden Alvor Club opposite our apartment. There you can play mini golf, enjoy fine dining, visit the sauna, or splash around in the warm pool.

From the stylish Ria Penthouse, nestled in a dream location between the sea and the lagoon, you can reach the unspoilt long sandy beach of Praia de Alvor in 15 minutes on foot. The walk through the unspoilt nature of the lagoon is a delight. From the two spacious terraces of our apartment, you can enjoy unique views of the Ria de Alvor nature reserve. The changing tides and spectacular sunsets can be experienced from the front row of the apartment. You are just a few steps away from the centre of Alvor with its tile-decorated fishermen's cottages and Portuguese shops, grocery stores, small cafés, restaurants and bars. The centre of Alvor is traffic-free.

Ria Penthouse features a luxurious living room with a private terrace, two lovingly curated bedrooms, two separate en-suite bathrooms, a perfectly equipped kitchen-diner and an impressive roof terrace. You have exclusive access to the large swimming pool of our fine residential complex. A private garage space is available in the building. The lift, located right next to the garage space, takes you to the front door of the apartment.

The minimum stay is 4 nights in the summer season.

A self check-in is available for the Ria Penthouse. On your arrival day, Helena will send you all check-in instructions and access codes via WhatsApp.

Each further person is charged at 20.00 EURO per night (max. 4 persons). Children up to 9 years of age are charged at 10.00 EURO per night.

When booking, we kindly ask for a deposit. If the arrival cannot take place, we will credit you the payment for a later booking.

One-time cleaning fee: 2 persons 80.00 EURO, each further person 10.00 EURO. Towels and bed-linen are provided. Electricity, gas and water are included.

We can not say enough about how much we enjoyed staying in the Ria Penthouse. We were meeting with our family in Portimao, who were staying in a high end hotel in an expensive executive suite. One look at our Penthouse in Alvor and they were sorry that they didn't do the same. We ended up spending all our down time in the Penthouse. It was like a perfect home away from home. The two gorgeous terraces made it hard to decide from where to enjoy the scenic view. The atmosphere and comfort level was so high that we decided to extend our stay. The Penthouse is brand new and has all the modern appliances. It's just a short walk away from the next supermarket, restaurants, cafés, fruit and vegetable retailers, and the beach. Alvor is an authentic and friendly village. Helena was charming and made sure that we felt welcome. Witold Zacharias, Helenas father, was always quick to answer any questions, was very professional and friendly. A really well run company. Staying here made our trip to the Algarve a much richer and satisfying experience.

We loved this luxury penthouse in Alvor. The brand new building is stylish and well−constructed. The space in the penthouse is utilised very well and is more than adequate for a young family like ours. The spacious bedrooms are well designed and both beds are exceptionally comfortable. The two private terraces are a real luxury and the perfect place for an evening drink while watching the sunset over the nature reserve. The cosy living room is perfect for relaxing and watching some TV. We appreciated the serene location in this small fishing village and were truly able to disconnect and unwind. An exceptional apartment. I can't recommend it highly enough.

The Ria Penthouse exceeded our expectations. The Penthouse had everything in it to make it a real home away from home. We especially enjoyed the balcony which we made use of to reflect on our fabulous time traveling through Portugal. The arrival and check in went smoothly and we knew if we encountered any issues help was just a phone call away. That, of course, did not occur, but it was reassuring to know. Also the high level of cleanliness was highly appreciated. The area felt safe and was within close proximity to numerous restaurants and a short walk away from the beach and the long wooden trails through the nature reserve. It was our first time in Alvor and we enjoyed the calm and friendly atmosphere. We would recommend the Ria Penthouse and your website without hesitation and hope to return ourselves at some point.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche im Ria Penthouse an der grünen Westalgarve. Das Penthouse ist bis ins kleinste Detail geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Besonders angenehm fanden wir, dass die beiden Schlafzimmer jeweils über ein eigenes Badezimmer und direkten Zugang auf die Terrasse verfügen. Bereits am Morgen hat man aus den Betten einen einmaligen Ausblick zur Lagune. Auch die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet, so hat das gemeinsame Kochen viel Spaß gemacht. Die Markthalle in Portimao hat ein unschlagbares Angebot an frischem Fisch. Das absolute Highlight waren die beiden großen Terrassen. Vor allem die Dachterrasse mit dem Rundumblick über die Ria Alvor hat es uns angetan. Wir haben dort früh morgens unseren ersten Kaffee getrunken, abends den Sonnenuntergang genossen und nachts die Sterne bewundert. Die wunderbare Aussicht und Ruhe haben für uns einen Großteil des Urlaubsgefühls ausgemacht. Die gesamte Wohnanlage ist super gepflegt und der Pool war besonders am späten Nachmittag eine schöne Alternative zum Strand. Auch die Lage ist perfekt. Man wohnt absolut ruhig und ist trotzdem direkt im Zentrum von Alvor mit seinen vielen kleinen Restaurants, Cafés und Geschäften. Den Strand haben wir zu Fuß über die schönen Wege durch die Dünen erreicht. Der Self Check−in verlief unkompliziert und die Informationen vor unserer Anreise waren ausführlich und verständlich. Helena stand uns auf deutsch telefonisch immer freundlich zur Verfügung. Insgesamt eine wirklich schöne Unterkunft für alle, welche die Schönheit der Algarve genießen möchten, ohne mitten im touristischen Trubel zu wohnen. Wir werden das Ria Penthouse gerne wieder buchen und können es uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und neu. Die Lage ist perfekt und ruhig. Bequeme Betten und schöne Bäder. Große Terrasse/n, großer Pool im Garten und genügend Liegestühle. Tiefgarage und Aufzug. Zum langen Strand waren es zu Fuß ca. 10−15 Minuten, mit dem Auto 5 Minuten, Parkplätze ohne Gebühr. Zum Bäcker nur 100 m, viele Restaurants im 300 m Umkreis. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und werden gerne wieder kommen.

Ria Penthouse − eine Traum−Ferienwohnung in Alvor. Der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für Urlaub an der Algarve. Die große, komfortable Wohnung ist blitzsauber, gepflegt und mit allem ausgestattet, was man im Urlaub benötigt. Auch genügend Schrank− und Ablageflächen sind vorhanden. Die großen, bequemen Betten sorgen für einen erholsamen Schlaf und der helle, lichtdurchflutete Wohnraum mit dem traumhaften Blick in die weite Landschaft und aufs Wasser ist zu jeder Tageszeit beeindruckend. Hervorzuheben ist auch der zur Wohnung gehörende, große abschließbare TG−Stellplatz (Doppelgarage). So hat man nie Parkplatzprobleme. Die Lage der Wohnung − nah zu Geschäften, Restaurants und Supermarkt und trotzdem abseits vom Trubel und wunderbar ruhig − haben wir als ideal empfunden. Hafen, Strand und Wanderpfade sind nach kurzen Fußwegen erreichbar. Alvor selbst hat sich den Charakter eines portugiesischen Fischerorts erhalten, keine Bettenburgen am Strand! Auch als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge zu anderen Orten an der Algarve und der Westküste ist es perfekt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gern einmal wieder! Das Penthouse liegt einfach traumhaft in Alvor, direkt gegenüber des großen Naturschutzgebiets und dem Städchen auf der anderen Seite. Es ist geräumig, hell und modern eingerichtet mit zwei spektakulären Terrassen. Zu Fuß lassen sich der komplette Ort und der lange Strand gut und schnell erreichen. Zahlreiche Restaurants für jeden Geschmack, Bars und Lebensmittelläden sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Helena hat uns herzlich empfangen und gute Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt gegeben. Der Service von Lissabon−Altstadt ist wunderbar. Alles ist bestens organisiert und der Urlaub kann somit in vollen Zügen genossen werden.
